About the role
Linux Format is looking for a talented and passionate Staff Writer to join its editorial team.

As Staff Writer you will write general features, tutorials, reviews and news stories for all sections of the magazine. You will generate ideas for new articles and source products suitable for review. Also part of the role will involve interviewing open source luminaries and building strong relationships within the industry and the magazine's contributors.

With extensive Linux knowledge and an excellent command of written English and an enthusiasm for writing, you will be looking to take your first step into magazine journalism. You will be self-motivated, be able to work under your own initiative and as part of a team.

Solid organisation and time management skills are essential, as well as the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
