Policy Adviser / Translator

In this busy position, under the direction of the Ambassador, you will support the Embassy’s engagement with government officials, local contacts and the business sector. You will be responsible for conducting research and analysis, and preparing policy reports to shape diplomatic and commercial relations.

You will help to identify and develop strategies for public and profile-raising events and functions that promote New Zealand’s interests.

Your excellent research and critical analysis skills, coupled with excellent written and oral English and Portuguese communication skills (to a high translation level), and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, will be key to your success.

You must be fluent in English and Portuguese.
